Results of the Ninth Workshop on Environmental Monitoring of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) in East Asian Countries

The Ministry of the Environment of Japan (MOEJ) held the above-mentioned workshop on 30 January to 1 February, 2012, in Bangkok, Thailand in cooperation with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand. Officials and/or experts from 11 countries (Cambodia, Indonesia, Republic of Korea, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam and Japan) in East Asia and experts from UNEP and AMAP participated in the Workshop.
The Workshop adopted the chairperson's summary as attached.
