Third meeting of the "National Committee for IYB" to be held
The MOE of Japan called on academic experts and relevant organizations and formed the National Committee for IYB (International Year of Biodiversity), which is dubbed as the "Committee for Life on Earth," in January 2010, and has been implementing a range of projects and activities for the international year.
Since IYB closed last year, the third meeting of the committee will take place on Thursday, the 10th of February, in order to sum up the results of the International Year of Biodiversity, and to examine the "United Nations Decade on Biodiversity" which was recently proclaimed by the United Nations.
