Public Notice Partially Amending the Environmental Quality Standard for Soil Contamination (Public Notice of the Ministry of the Environment No.37 of 2010) and related Ministerial Ordinance

On March 18, 2010, the Central Environment Council submitted a report reviewing the Environmental Quality Standard (EQS) for cadmium for agricultural land and the requirements for designating a Countermeasure Area prescribed in the Agricultural Land Soil Pollution Prevention Act. In accordance with the report, new regulatory level for cadmium and sampling method were adopted in the EQSs for Soil Contamination and the Ministerial Ordinance respectively.
