Report on the Diffusion of Eco-fuels for Heat Generation
The Ministry of the Environment issued a report this month covering the diffusion of eco-fuels (fuels originating in biomass resources) for heat generation. In this report, domestic and foreign programs to make use of eco-fuels for heat, such as bio-gases and wood fuels, are described, and problems to be solved regarding efforts to spread these fuels are examined. The report also establishes Japan's diffusion targets for heat-generating eco-fuels for 2010 and 2030, and sets forth a concrete scenario and required measures toward these targets.
The report is available in Japanese only.
