Announcement on the partial amendment of the eradication/control measure of Javan mongoose (Herpestes javanicus), designated as Invasive Alien Species (IAS) under the Invasive Alien Species Act

The partially amended eradication/control measure of Javan mongoose (Herpestes javanicus) was announced in the official gazette on February 1, 2010, enlarging the target area from Amami and Okinawa Islands to the whole country. This amendment was also reflected in the prerequisites for confirmation or acknowledgement in implementing eradication/control obtained by local public entities and others.
