The partial amendment of the standard for breeding and raising Banded Mongoose (Mungos mungo) which is designated as Invasive Alien Species (IAS) under the Invasive Alien Species Act and its enforcement regulation

The designation of Banded Mongoose (Mungos mungo) as Invasive Alien Species (IAS) will take effect on February 1, 2010. In response to the designation, the enforcement regulation, the standard for breeding and raising the newly designated IAS, and other details of handling this IAS under the Invasive Alien Species Act were amended and promulgated through the official gazette on January 26, 2010.

With regard to the invitation for public comments relating to the amendments initiated from December 8, 2009 to January 7, 2010, 2 comments were received.
