The 3rd Round-Table Meeting prior to the 10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity and the 5th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties Serving at the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena

The 3rd Round-Table Meeting prior to the 10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity and the 5th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties Serving at the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol will be held on Tuesday, November 24th, 2009, from 15:00 until 17:00, at the conference room 1 of the MOE on the 22th Floor of the Central Government Building No. 5 (1-2-2 Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). This meeting is called in order to promote inter-department information sharing, the exchange of views, collaboration amongst administrative agencies, NGOs/NPOs, corporations, researchers, and international organizations, and to contribute to the smooth and efficient convening of the COP10 and MOP5. Its aim the preparation towards the 10th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP10) and the 5th Meeting of the Conference of the Serving as the Meeting of Parties to the Cartagena Protocol (MOP5) to be held in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, in October 2010.
