Biodiversity Exhibition to be Held

The MOE will host exhibitions dubbed as "Biodiversity EXPO 2010" in Osaka and Fukuoka, with the participation of environmentally conscious private enterprises and groups aiming at local revitalization through promotion of agriculture and eco-tourism.

In addition, the MOE will take part in 5 exhibitions concerning biodiversity, which will be held nationwide every year, and will introduce a "Biodiversity Corner" booth to promote and disseminate biodiversity to the public. The first exhibition is "Eco-products Tohoku 2009" which is set to be held in Sendai (at MIYAGI Exhibition Center "Yume Messe") on October 15-17, 2009.
