Participation in Quality Assurance and Quality Control Survey of Environmental Measurement and Analysis in FY2009

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) invites the participation by analysis organizations in the Quality Assurance and Quality Control Survey of Environmental Measurement and Analysis in FY2009.

The issues covered by the survey are as follows;

<Basic survey>
Simulated waste water sample: COD, Total Nitrogen, and Nitrate Nitrogen
Waste matter (particulate) sample obtained from an elution test at an incineration plant: Lead (Pb), Copper (Cu), and Calcium (Ca)

<Advanced survey>
Waste matter (Particulate) sample from an incineration plant: Dioxin
Simulated air sample: Volatile Organic Compounds (Benzene, 1,3-Butadiene, Trimethylbenzene, and Difluorodichloromethane (CFC12))

The Quality Assurance and Quality Control Survey of Environmental Measurement and Analysis is a program that has been conducted by the MOE since FY1975 to secure the reliability and improve the precision at environmental measurement and analysis.
