Public Comment Invited regarding Draft Report on Reviewing the Implementation Status of the Cartagena Law

The Sub-committee on Genetically Modified Organisms of the Central Environment Council has finalized the draft report on reviewing the implementation status of the Law concerning the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Biological Diversity through Regulations on the Use of Living Modified Organism (Cartagena Law) which was enacted in 2004. The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) invites comments from the public for the draft report. Comments will be accepted from May 18th to June 17th, 2009. Comments need to be submitted in Japanese.
