All Japan School Biotope Contest Awards Ceremony for 2017

February 11, 2018

Biotope is an area of relatively uniform environmental conditions, occupied by a given plant community and its associated animal community. Creating a school biotope project has been ongoing over recent decades with the aim of providing ecological spaces at schools and ecological education. It is proven that children learn about the existence of various ecosystems through playing there.
