Result of pilot test to set the temperature 2 degrees C higher when cooling at new annex of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi department store headquarters (COOL BIZ feeling temperature survey)

Ministry of the Environment conducted a customer questionnaire survey on the pilot test to set the temperature 2 degrees C higher than usual at new annex of Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi department store headquarters (COOL BIZ feeling temperature survey) from July 31 to August 3. The result is as follows.

1. Result

As per the attached "COOL BIZ Feeling Temperature Survey Result."

Excluding those who did not go to the field floor and nonresponder, 98% answered "comfortable" or "no problem despite a bit hot" and 96% encouraged to continue this approach.

As for this pilot test method, 48% said that it is realistic enough to carry out in other stores and 43% said that this approach should be carried out at all the floors.
