The Hachimantai Visitor Center is operated by the Ministry of the Environment, located the other side of Onuma Pond in Hachimantai region. With diorama and films, you can easily learn about nature in Hachimantai, including flora and fauna and the process of its formation. Our free guided tours for the Onuma Nature Observation Trails are also available. The most updated nature information is provided for the mountain climbers and hikers.

The variety of events such as hiking and nature observation meeting is planned for you to fully experience nature of the Hachimantai region.
