Amihari-Onsen Camp Site is located in the site of National Park Resort Kyukamura Iwate-Amihari Onsen, on the southwestern foot of Mt. Iwate at an altitude of 760 m. There is the "Free Site" of the lawn (about 20 sheets) and the "Forest Site" (40 sections) in the forest. There is also Onsenkan "Yakushi no Yu" in the neighborhood, and you can enjoy hot springs.
The facilities: Walking tracts on the premises; Touring around "Five Hot Springs of Amihari" ; "Observation Lift" from early summer to autumnal leaves; the Information Center of National Park, "Amihari Visitor Center" are also substantial.

This plan includes a set of ingredients (For example BBQ, Barayaki or stir-fried meat of local dish, and curry and rice. Bread baked at the kyukamura and thickly-sliced bacon for breakfast.), a camping kit which is like exhibition in an outdoor goods store, and hot spring bathing. The tent has been set up, no need to clean up. You can experience authentic camp life with traveling mood.
Himebotaru fireflies fly around 1 to 2 weeks at the middle of July every year. It is a rare land-based firefly and believed to live in only four places in Iwate Prefecture including here.
The day-trip bathing facility adjacent to the campground. There are a room with nearly 145 square meters and a cafeteria.
