Amihari Course

Model Course Scenery

The rock ridge zone called Onigajo is thrilling. This is a course in which you can gain the altitude by using a lift.

The Amihari Course starts from Amihari Skiing Ground, the trail entrance. The characteristic is that a lift can be used up to the altitude of 1,320 m.

The views of Mt. Iwate seen from the area around Mt. Ubakura and from the top of Mt. Kurokura are magnificent. Craggy and steep ridgeline can be observed. On the way, there is a junction between the course via Onigajo with the view of strange and rough rocks and truly stunning views, and the one via the flower field at the Crater Basin. You can enjoy different courses in going and returning as you wish.

It’s a course with significant value in using the lift. However, if you’re to use the lift to and from the top, be extremely careful about the days and times of operation.
