The Matsukawa Course has its trail entrance at Matsukawa Onsen. It’s a very clear straight path on which steep slope continues up until it joins the Amihari Course on Mt. Ubakura.
In the Japanese Beech forest zone, enjoy the awesome giant trees and peace and quiet forests. In autumn, you will be able to enjoy beautiful colored-leaves of Japanese Beech trees. After passing Mt. Ubakura, a fine view of soaring Mt. Iwate starts to be available in front of you.
With stunning view of Hachimantai through to Ura-Iwate (the west side of Mt. Iwate), this is a course that you can have fun in both climbing and descending.
