Gentoo Penguin (Pygoscelis papua) Sphenisciformes/Spheniscidae
 

Gentoo penguins are observed in a broad range, from the Antarctic Peninsula to islands in the southern Pacific Ocean. The penguins do not breed south of 65° South Latitude. Breeding periods vary in regions and they lay eggs in November in the Peninsula area. Length: 75cm. Weight: 5-5.5kg. Feed mainly on krill and fish.
