Towada Visitor Center
Look, touch and feel as though you are in the middle of a forest.
Located near Lake Towada, the Towada Visitor Center enables people to learn about nature in Towada-Hachimantai National Park. The Center's observation lounge, which provides exquisite views of the Lake, is a perfect spot to take a rest. In addition to displays explaining the natural environment, you'll find a crafts corner and a kids' corner. Observation meetings and other events are held.
The Center offers information on conditions in each season and advice on how to best enjoy the national park. Please feel free to drop in. Inquiries by telephone and e-mail are also accepted.

Message from the Facility
The Towada Visitor Center provides information on nature and road conditions in the Towada Hakkoda area. In addition to viewing the Center’s exhibits, visitors can see from the lounge coveys of spot-billed ducks, and squirrels and other small animals inhabit the surrounding area.
