Oirase Keiryu-kan
Start your hike along the mountain stream at this information center in Oirase.
The Oirase Keiryu-kan is located at the downstream entrance to the Oirase stream in Towada-Hachimantai National Park. It offers displays and materials related to the stream, souvenirs, and experiences such as crafting moss balls. At the cafe, enjoy coffee brewed from the Oirase headwaters, made at the adjacent Oirase Yusui-kan.
The museum offers other services for your enjoyment, including information on safely walking along the Oirase stream, and rental of electric motor-assisted bicycles.
