Hot Spring Camp Site Ebino Highland Camp Village

Ebino Highland Camp Village
Expansive fields where you can see the changing faces of the seasons.

Ebino Highland Camp Village is located in Ebino Highland (elevation 1200 meters) within Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park. A variety of wild plants grow around the campgrounds, such as the National Natural Monument Malus spontanea, a type of crabapple in the rose family found only in Ebino Highland; Rhododendron kiusianum, a type of azalea; and Japanese red pines.

With hiking courses on Mt. Karakuni and Mt. Koshiki, nature trails around the three crater lakes, and the chance to quietly relax in the red pine forest, there are countless ways to enjoy the campground or use it as a basecamp for your activities.

Message from the Facility
These campgrounds are the perfect destination for enjoying the seasons of the year. See the blooming Malus spontanea crabapples and Rhododendron kiusianum azaleas in the spring or escape the heat in summer. In the fall, take delight in the colorful leaves and Japanese susuki grass, or in winter, go ice skating and enjoy seeing the hoarfroast and other winter scenery. You might even be able to catch sight of a wild deer. The wood cabins are warm, comfortable, and are rebuilt regularly, so please come visit us anytime.
