With stunningly clear waters known as Kerama Blue, Aharen Beach is one of Japan's most beautiful beaches, which are visible directly from the campgrounds. Here, you can enjoy camping on the seaside and spend the day sea bathing in the pristine waters. During the summer, forget the rest of world and let yourself retreat into the gorgeous sunsets that fall right into the waters of the Kerama Strait.

At the neighboring Aharen Botanical Garden, you will find a lush forest oasis of fan palms and other subtropical plants, making this campground an even more the perfect place to enjoy the nature of the southern islands.

Message from the Facility

Throughout the year, over 2,000 campers come to Tokashiki Village Youth Travel Village Campgrounds, ranging from lone travelers to families on summer vacation, as well as those on company or group getaways. Also, because of their location at the beach’s sea bathing area, the toilet and shower facilities are used by over 10,000 people every year!

Experience the flow of Okinawan island time by enjoying sea bathing during the day, watching the sunset while barbecuing in the evening, and gazing at the starry sky at night.
