The Environment Congress for Asia and the Pacific is an informal meeting of environment ministers in Asia-Pacific region, which is organized and hosted by the Ministry of the Environment of Japan. The aim of this congress is to provide a forum in which environment ministers freely exchange views as well as promote cooperation in the environmental field in this region. Twelve meetings have been held since 1991. The previous meeting (12th Meeting) was held in the city of Yonago in Tottori prefecture in June 2004.

*Excursion to EXPO2005 Aichi is planned in the afternoon on Sunday, 5th June.
(The secretaliat will provide transport (Bus)from the Convention Center to
EXPO. You are kindly asked to arrange your own transport from EXPO to the next
destination.)

by Gifu Prefecture on June 3rd.
