[Abstract]

Catalyic decomposition of CFCs was investigated. The chemical reactions studied in this project are hyrolysis and oxidative decomposition. The most active catalyst for hydrolysis is TiO2-ZrO2 and that for oxidative decomposition is WO3/Al2O3-ZrO2. Surface properties and reaction mechanisms were also elucidated.
