Ganiba-Onsen, the hot spring is the hot spring Inn of the red roof located at the far end of Nyuto-Onsen Village, where the prefectural road is interrupted. The characteristic name to read "Kaniba-crab place" as "Ganba" is derived from the fact that there were a lot of Japanese freshwater crab in the surrounding area.
The hot spring has an inner bath and an open-air bath, either of which has an atmosphere of old time spa as it is contrary to the exterior of the inn. "Karakono-yu" of the famous open-air bath is in the pristine forest about 50 m away from the lodging house, white flowers of sulphur dance fluttering on the transparent hot spring. The lights of the lanterns are fantastic at night, and there is a different taste from daytime.
The Ganiba-Onsen with a transparent and soft touch would be a good hot spring as the last hot spring of the Nyuto-Onsen Village.
