Mukaitaki Rokan Public bath Uchiburo

The Tsuchiyu hot spring that flows from the foot of Azuma-Kofuji is a weak alkaline simple hot spring that is gentle on the skin. This inn commands a view over the valley, providing a view of the beautifully-colored landscape throughout the four seasons. Soak in the Iwa-buro or Hinoki-buro open-air baths while gazing at the trees and listening to the sounds of the Arakawa River. The Toukiroten-buro that opened in January 2014 has also already established a good reputation. The shigaraki bathtubs set against the natural fragrance of the cypress-wood open-air bathing area give a great feeling of liberation. Indulge yourself in an open-air bath with a special kind of refinement.

MESSAGE

With its abundance of nature, this location is visited by monkeys and serows. The inn has two open-air pottery baths called Hoshi-no-sasayaki and Tsuki-no-hohoemi. Half of the roof is open to the sky in order that our guest may enjoy the beautifully starry nights of Tsuchiyu Onsen. Enjoy the stadium of stars floating in the night sky as you stretch out your legs in relaxation.
