Participating Countries
Competent Authority and Focal Point
A member of the Asian Network is Competent Authority and/or Focal Point to the Basel Convention in the parties which are described at 2.3 Geographical coverage and participating organizations in the Terms of Reference adopted at the Workshop on Prevention of Illegal Transboundary Movement of Hazardous Wastes on 7-8 December 2004 in Tokyo, Japan.
Other than the above-prescribed participating countries, countries that BCRC China and BCRC-SEA serve become a member if agreed by consensus.
