Workshop 2013
Workshop 2013 of the Asian Network for Prevention of Illegal Transboundary Movement of Hazardous Wastes was held in Bangkok, Thailand from 19th November to 22nd November 2013.
The workshop was co-organized by the Pollution Control Department (PCD) of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Kingdom of Thailand, Ministry of the Environment, Japan and the Basel Convention Regional Centre for South-East Asia (BCRC-SEA).
Day 1 of the workshop was arranged as a joint meeting with two relevant networks: the Environmental Network for Optimizing Regulatory Compliance on Illegal Traffic (ENFORCE) and Regional Enforcement Network for Chemicals and Waste (REN). Followed by last year’s meeting, Day 2 of the workshop was organized as a joint programme with the 2nd Workshop of REN.
