Workshop 2012

Workshop 2012 of the Asian Network for Prevention of Illegal Transboundary Movement of Hazardous Wastes was held from 20-22 November 2012, in Cebu, the Philippines.

The workshop was organized by the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) with support from Ministry of the Environment, Japan and the Basel Convention Regional Centre for South-East Asia (BCRC-SEA).

Day 2 of the workshop was arranged as a joint programme with the 1st workshop of the Regional Enforcement Network for Chemicals and Waste (Project REN) which is a new initiative launched by the United Nations Environment Programme, Regional Office of Asia and Pacific (UNEP/ROAP) in cooperation with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
