Starting on September 1, 2005, the Ministry of the Environment (MoE) will provide an e-mail news delivery service (available in Japanese) on the "Press Release" and "What's New" which are posted on the MoE web page. The news will be delivered at 8 pm (Japan time) everyday except for no-business days of the MoE. No delivery if there is no updated news. This service is not available for mobile phone.
To subscribe to the news update service in Japanese, please click a link button on lower light of the top page of the MoE web site (http://www.env.go.jp) on September 1, 2005, 10 am onward. Then you can access the registration form to fill in your e-mail address as directed.
English-language environmental news delivery service is also available. Please send an e-mail to globe_env@env.go.jp with "Request e-mail service" in the subject line to receive regular English-language environmental news updates by e-mail. Unless otherwise specified, updates will be sent to the e-mail address from which you send your request.
