Beautification and clean-up program (Natural Parks Clean-Up Day)
The first Sunday of every August is Natural Parks Clean-Up Day. Large-scale beautification and clean-up activities targeting all Natural Parks across Japan are conducted for the purpose of raising awareness for beautification in Natural Parks . Appeals to remove trash are made primarily in areas with a high concentration of visitors and large-scale activities are carried out in collaboration with the relevant authorities and organizations.
