Sarobetsu Wetland Center

The Sarobetsu Wetland Center is a facility designed to provide a wide range of information on the Sarobetsu Wetlands. The wooden path from the Sarobetsu Wetland Center extends for approximately 1km. Scenic points and rest decks are situated along the way to ensure a leisurely nature experience. The Sarobetsu Wetland Center contains exhibits explaining the natural environment and history of the Sarobetsu Wetland Center, and also provides live cameras for views of the Sarobetsu Wetland.

Horonobe Visitor Center

The Horonobe Visitor Center introduces the ecology of the wide variety of plant and animal life of the Sarobetsu Wetland in the form of videos and exhibits. In addition to information on the seasonal sights, the second floor provides opportunities to view the Sarobetsu Wetlamd and Mt. Rishiri towering in the distance. The wooden path extends for 3km from the Visitor Center, and allows viewing of the plant and animal life of the wetlands.
