Hot Spring Accommodation Kawayu Daiichi Hotel Suikazura

Kawayu Daiichi Hotel Suikazura
The pinnacle of comfort.

In Hokkaido's local dialect, there is a special word for comfort―"azumashii"―which is the feeling of being utterly at ease, as if sitting next to your soul mate or relaxing in your own home. With its world-class natural hot spring born from the greatness of Mother Nature and its emphasis on harmonious Japanese design, this is the kind of comfort that awaits guests at Suikazura.

Guest rooms are a fusion of Japanese and western styles, and are designed to allow you to relax to the highest degree. The hotel's hot spring is a natural sulfur spring with waters flowing directly from the source. At night, the hot spring baths are lit up, producing an enchanting atmosphere that will melt the fatigue of the day away. Meals are cooked according to the seasons with fresh, in-season ingredients. Do stop by Suikazura on your next trip to Teshikaga!

Suikazura is blessed with the unparalleled nature of the Akan-Mashu National Park and our own private source of hot spring water, and since we opened our doors in 1933, we have welcomed a great many guests.

Our mission is to become a hotel where unforgettable memories are made, continue providing excellent service in harmony with the surrounding environment, and giving our guests a true taste of Hokkaido comfort.
