These are the waters in the vicinity of Yonaguni Island. In the winter, hammerhead sharks can be seen off Irizaki Cape. These waters are habitat to a large population of Octocorallia coral, and the waters in the vicinity of the island include breeding grounds for roseate tern and black-naped tern.
