These waters are centered on Cape Noshappu. These highly productive waters include eel grass beds and seaweed beds in the sea extending in front of the port of Horai to the east of the cape and the sea extending in front of Fujimi to its west. These waters include spawning grounds of Japanese sand lance, rockfish, Pacific herring, Pacific cod, and others.
