To promote the appropriate treatment of PCB waste, the MOE implemented a certification system for businesses detoxifying waste electrical machinery contaminated by a small amount of PCB using sophisticated technologies in compliance with the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law.
The Minister has announced today that an application has been submitted by TOYAMA KANKYO SEIBI CO., LTD. Their application documents will be open for public inspection for one month, from February 23, 2012 to March 22, 2012. Stakeholders interested in the relevant facilities may submit their comments to the Minister from the perspective of life environment conservation by April 5, 2012. All comments should be submitted in Japanese.
