Public Comments Invited Regarding the "Proposal for the Registration Withholding Standards for Agricultural Chemicals concerning Water Pollution"

The Ministry of the Environment invites public comments regarding its "Proposal for the Registration Withholding Standards for Agricultural Chemicals concerning Water Pollution". Comments will be accepted from February 19, 2009 to March 20, 2009.
The proposal will establish the registration withholding standard concerning water pollution for one agricultural chemical, carfentrazone-ethyl.
The standard will be established under Paragraph 2, Article 3 of the Agricultural Chemicals Regulation Law.
All procedures related to this invitation will be conducted in Japanese; comments must also be submitted in Japanese.
