Announcement of the Results of the Testing of Wild Birds for the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) Virus in December, 2008
The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) has announced that it has tested all the samples of duck feces which were taken from 26 prefectures and 29 districts in December, 2008. The testing, conducted at the National Institute for Environmental Studies, etc., found all samples tested negative for the HPAI virus.
