Public Comments are Invited Regarding the "Proposal for Registration Withholding Standards of Agricultural Chemicals"

The Ministry of the Environment invites public comments regarding its "Proposal of Registration Withholding Standards of Agricultural Chemicals". Comments will be accepted from January 15, 2009 to February13, 2009.
The proposal establishes the registration of withholding standards on the prevention of damage to aquatic animals and plants for ten agricultural chemicals (isotianil, dicamba, dicamba-potassium, dicamba-dimethylammonium, acequinocyl, carbaryl, clomeprop, thiocyclam oxalate, flucythrinate, bromobutide).
This standard is established under Paragraph 2, Article 3 of the Agricultural Chemicals Regulation Law.
All procedures related to this invitation will be conducted in Japanese. Comments must also be submitted in Japanese.
