"Eco-internship Symposium 2008" to be held on December 21th 2008

The "Eco-internship program" implemented by the Ministry of the Environment starting in 2007 is a program which includes an internship to send undergraduates or masters students to environmental management divisions of private companies for a short period (approximately two weeks).
The "Eco-internship Symposium 2008" will be held as part of the program on December 21th, 2008, to be held at the Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo. The symposium will consist of a keynote lecture by Dr. Masaru Kitano, professor at Meiji University, as well as a report on the various activities of the eco-internships and a panel discussion by Dr. Itaru Yasui, Professor Emeritus at Tokyo University, and other members in the field. All programs will be conducted in Japanese.
