Public Comments Invited Regarding Amendments to the Enforcement Ordinance of the Law Relating to the Prevention of Marine Pollution and Maritime Disasters
The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) is in the process of amending the Enforcement Ordinance of the Law Relating to the Prevention of Marine Pollution and Maritime Disaster. The amendments are to comply with the amendments of the International Code for Chemicals in Bulk, which changed the list of hazardous liquid substances.
The MOE invites public comments regarding the amendments. Comments will be accepted from October 28, 2008 to November 26, 2008. All procedures relating to this invitation for public comment are to be conducted in Japanese and comments should also be submitted in Japanese.
