Brief Report on the Findings from the "Survey on Lives in Paddy Fields and their Surrounding Environments: 2007", a Collaborative Project between the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of the Environment
The following is a brief report on the findings from the "Survey on Lives in Paddy Fields and their Surrounding Environments: 2007", a collaborative project between the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Ministry of the Environment. This year, surveys of fish and frogs were conducted throughout Japan with the participation of 524 organizations at 1,500 and 350 survey spots, respectively. 88 species of fish and 14 species of frogs have been identified.
