An Event "The Blessing of Wetlands - Tourism and Products of Ramsar Sites" to Be Held at ECOLIFE FAIR 2006
The Ministry of the Environment of Japan will host an event titled "The Blessing of Wetlands - Tourism and Products of Ramsar Sites" at ECOLIFE FAIR 2006, on June 3 and 4 at Yoyogi Park, Tokyo. The event is organized in cooperation with relevant local governments, NGOs and other related groups. Its aim is to introduce the Ramsar Convention and 33 Ramsar Sites in Japan. A Variety of products, tours, events and culture that demonstrate the blessings of the wetlands will be exhibited here with the hope of raising public awareness of the Ramsar Convention.
