The Situational Maintenance Report of the Shiretoko Natural World Heritage Site

UNESCO World Heritage Centre and IUCN completed the maintenance situation of the Shiretoko Natural World Heritage Site, Japan, from February 19th-22nd.

UNESCO World Heritage Centre sent the current Report of the Reactive Monitoring Mission to Japanese Government.

The report detailed the maintenance management of Shiretoko done based on participation and scientific finding of various subjects and the recommendation of seventeen items including: the decision of an inclusive inheritance management plan and the promotion of the continuance of the river construction strategy improvement and eco-tourism and the climate change.
