Public Comments Invited Regarding Draft of the Matters Appended to Standard for Testing Facilities which Conduct the Testing of New Chemical Substances etc. under the "Chemical Substances Control Law"

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE), Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW), and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) are going to specify matters for Sediment-water chironomid toxicity test and the Avian reproduction test appended to Standard for Testing Facilities which conduct the Testing of New Chemical Substances etc. under the "Chemical Substances Control Law" (GLP for industrial chemical substances). Amendments will also be made concerning the method of Sediment-water chironomid toxicity test which studies of the hazardous properties of Type III Monitoring Chemical Substances.
The three Ministries will widely invite public comments on these drafts. All written procedures related to this invitation of public comments will be conducted in Japanese. Therefore, comments should be submitted in Japanese.
