Results of Public Comments Regarding Draft Standard for Receiving Confirmation of Manufacture or Import of Intermediate Substances, etc. under Article 3 (1)(iv) of the "Chemical Substances Control Law"

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE), the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW), and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has invited public comments regarding the Draft Standard for Receiving Confirmation of Manufacture or Import of Intermediate Substances, etc. under Article 3 (1)(iv) of the "Chemical Substances Control Law" from January 25 to February 23, 2008. Eight comments were received. An overview of the comments and responses to the comments, have been announced. The Ministry expresses gratitude for comments submitted.
