Draft Decision on the date and venue of the tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD/COP10) (Draft)

The Executive Secretary of the CBD informed the Ministry of the Environment that the draft decision on the date and venue of the COP10 would be sent to all Parties.
It will be presented and discussed at the COP9, (Bonn, Germany, 19- 30 May 2008).

The draft decision proposes;
Dates:
- The fifth meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (COP/MOP-5); 11 to 15 October 2010
- The tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD/COP-10); 18 to 29 October 2010
- The high level segment; 27 to 29 October 2010
