Crested Ibis' to be Added for Training in Acclimatization to the Wild
The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) is pleased to announce that 10 Crested Ibis' will be added in cage for acclimatization to the wild at Yasei Fukki Station on February 12, 2008. The birds will then be trained for feeding, flying, and evasion from predators together with 5 other birds which have been in training since last July, in preparation for their trial release into the wild as planned for next Autumn.
