Guidelines for the Provision of Waste Information
The Ministry of the Environment released the Guidelines for the Provision of Waste Information in order to avoid accidents and prevent hazardous substances from entering the process of industrial waste treatment. These problems often arise as a result of information not sufficiently given to waste treatment businesses by waste generators.
According to the standards for commissioning the treatment of industrial waste prescribed in the Enforcement Regulation for the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law, a waste generator shall provide waste information necessary for its sound treatment to a waste treatment business. As a reference, the Guidelines lists the items that need to be given and contains a sample form of the Waste Data Sheet (WDS) that can be attached to a commission contract
