Public Comments Invited regarding Changes to Geographical Coverage and Planning of National and Quasi-National Parks

The Ministry of the Environment (MOE) invites comments from a broad spectrum of the public regarding proposed changes to geographical coverage and planning of both national and quasi-national parks. The MOE will implement changes in geographical coverage and planning for 5 parks (two national and three quasi-national parks.) Changes include expansion of the park area in Nikko National Park, addition to the nature restoration facilities plan in Tanzawa-Oyama Quasi-National Park, etc. An overview of comments received will be compiled and released to the public. These comments will also be reported to the Nature Conservation Committee of the Central Environment Council.

All written procedures related to this invitation for public comments are to be conducted in Japanese. Therefore, comments should be submitted in Japanese.
