Public Comments Invited on the Designation of 12 Uncategorized Alien Species, including Anolis Equestris, as "Invasive Alien Species"

A total of 12 species, including Anolis Equestris have been designated as "Uncategorized Alien Species (UAS)" and are prohibited from being imported unless the species in question are judged by the relevant ministers to have no possibility of having adverse effects on the ecosystem.

Upon receiving notification that the species were to be imported, a meeting of experts was convened and concluded that these species should be designated as "Invasive Alien Species."
